What is it?

The Liberation Cafe is an open discussion forum for students who identify with a liberation group to set the priorities of the Students' Union and GSU Officers for the 2019/2020.

(Students having direct influence over the priorities of the Officers and the Union was passed in the all student-vote, Big Choice referendum in October 2018).

What will it entail?

This is a safe space for you to input you're experiences, worries, aspirations and expectation of the Student Union in supporting you through your time at the University.

Does this change anything?

This is an exciting opportunity to have direct influence and say on what your Students' Union and representatives should be working on, in order to ensure the SU's priorities are aligned to working towards your needs and enhancing your university experience.

Why in a cafe?

Holding the consultation in a cafe means you can enjoy a free hot drink and cake on us and enjoy the open environment
