Get some fresh air on the coast with this day tip. Brighton is a vibrant city bursting with attractions: an outlandish Royal Palace, fascinating museums, a beautiful beach, fun-filled pier and superb shopping.

You’ll catch a coach from the Greenwich campus in the morning - please be at Dreadnought Building NO LATER THAN 10am as the coach will be leaving prompty. Once you arrive in Brighton you will be free to roam wherever you like, but make sure you are back at the coach by 4:30pm to go back.

See the sights includuing the iconic view of the see with the neon-lit Brighton Pier. Expect amusements, rides and refreshing ocean views. If you turn around to face into the city you’ll find an extravagant palace fit for a king. Brighton Pavilion was built for King George IV, who had legendary architect John Nash reimagine it into the domed Indian style palace you can see today. If you fancy some shopping Brighton’s colourful network of shopping streets known as The Lanes are full of vintage items, antiques and picturesque cafes.

This is the perfect chance to meet other Greenwich students while exploring somewhere outside London.

Brighton is by the coast so do keep an eye out for the weather and dress appropriately.
