Who I am ?
I'm Akshay , International business and management student. I am determined to contribute time and energy to create positive changes that student want to see. I want the students of GSU to feel I'm a person who they trust ; I will put my efforts in making university life of our students the most fruitful, fun and fulfilling experience I can. As I said A vote for me is "A vote for you ".
Why me ?
" STUDENT SHOULD KNOW WHAT THE UNINON KNOWS " I will make sure every decision is explained properly to students and that the union is fully transparent. As i was a student representative in my undergraduation (2014-2018, MCE - India), I know the problems faced by students and I assure they no need to worry about anything anymore .
what will I do ?
• I will increase the visibility of societies. I think that entertainment at GSU will be improved if societies interact with each other more.
• I will make sure there is a big event every Friday night hosted by our societies, encourage joint events and avoid monopolisation.
• I will support sports societies by seeking sports development opportunities such as hiring spaces in sports and finding the best instructors.
• I will create monthly calendar and guidebook of cultural, music and art events in GSU and workout student deals.
• I will help students by providing a street food area for cheaper in every campus.
• I will make sure to provide 24 hours Library facility for the students with a late night cafe and bus facilities .
• At last but not the least I will make sure sports will be the main key of attraction for the international students along with the academics.
