Your vision of Greenwich is my mission!

I am sure, like everybody else, you also imagined the perfect university experience. And then occasionally, reality came knocking… No worries! If I get elected, I will ensure that your voices are heard, and your visions have the chance to become reality!

Priorities I will focus on:

~ Academic Changes ~

  • Clear and effective communication between students and lecturers
  • Information regarding academic deadlines, events and support delivered on time
  • Personal tutoring – there are students who still haven’t been contacted by theirs, showing how badly the system needs some development

~ Support to You ~

  • Effective communication about changes in the education system, especially focussed on Brexit
  • Working together with the university to create more job opportunities for students and providing them with more employability and career fairs (e.g. students assisting teachers with administrative tasks)

~ Campus Life ~

  • Developing life quality around Avery Hill (missing packages, safety concerns, food selection and pricing, social spaces)
  • Making the Avery Hill bus stop at Eltham towards Greenwich too, and developing the Medway bus timetable
  • Creating social events and activities appealing to a wider audience (e.g. postgrads, international students)
  • More course-based events, giving the opportunity for students to get to know their course mates

Of course, I do not wish to limit my focus to only these priorities. I can promise to always be ready for changes and approach students’ needs with the flexibility and open-mindedness they deserve.

Not knowing what the future brings just means infinite opportunities for growth.

What helps me to be great for this role?

  • Years of work and study experience in a people-centred industry
  • Program rep position
  • Research assistant role
  • Student panel rep position
