Hi my name is Cade and I’m running to be one of your next FLAS Faculty Officer.
I have been a programme rep for the past 2 years as well as being on the committee for MathsSoc the academic society for the Mathematics department. I am also the mixed captain for the hockey team. Alongside this I was a programme rep at my last university as well as being on the department committee, through which we help run events for our department from socials to sports while also working with the academical and programme reps to help improve the student life.
Through my experience I have learnt how much of an impact the student voice can make as through being a programme rep the feedback my fellow rep and I gave help lead to changes including a new module to cover missed content (as we were doing a joint course).
My aims for the year are:

Build better relations between the schools and students

Set up regular meetings with the programme reps to feedback
