I am a Business Management student. You might know me as the current programme representative for Business Management Year 1 and Accessibility Student Ambassador.

I consider myself to be extremely approachable and have great attention to detail. I am running for this role because I feel at home in Greenwich University and I want every individual student to feel the same.

For this to happen there needs to be a leader who understands and acts on student needs and wants. As I already hold two positions, my aim has always been to improve student lives educationally as well as socially, but I will have greater control over certain situations getting elected. To support student priorities, I will increase what motivates students the most, for example, I will be increasing events to earn passport points, add more rewards for point, increase communication between staff and students make communication easy and structured to make complaints and requests reach appropriate people easier.

I have a clear view understanding of university life and know its weak points, what needs to be improved, what students need and want. Being elected for GSU Officer will be an honourable privilege to work on issues that all three campuses are facing including improving university bus times for Greenwich Students, improving student spaces, create more academic opportunities, raise more awareness to mental health, organise trips and student events for all courses, promote sustainability, increase counselling support and make university more practical.

I understand that students want more social opportunities related to their course it is extremely important to foster an active social community on courses as well as increase assessment guidance. As students, we want more clarity and clearer guidance around assessments that will relate across all courses and I will be responsible to improve these issues.
