Your priorities are my priorities, so they've given me my focus. Below is a list of things I’ll work on;
ACADEMIC SUPPORT
- Working with academics to provide a clearer explanation of assignments given.
- Developing better relationships between personal tutors and tutees.
- Regular consultations with course reps and students on ways to improve academic experience.
MENTAL HEALTH & WELL-BEING
- Providing more support to students outside classes and quick/immediate appointments.
- Providing students with access to support and information on where to turn in times of crisis.
- Improving ease of applying for EC for students with mental health issues.
EMPLOYABILITY
- Providing more career and employability fairs, covering all courses.
- Providing career-based experience opportunities in the university, allowing students the opportunity to gain experience while studying.
SOCIAL LIFE
- Events which foster socialising with people from the same course and accommodation.
A BETTER MEDWAY
- Events involving Greenwich and AveryHill Campuses but happening at Medway Campus.
- Later bus times between Medway and Greenwich.
- More events and social spaces in Medway.
